Virus has been in the bar scene since 1997, but as of late, it’s been attracting a pretty sizable gender-inclusive audience.

If that’s your thing, then you’re in the right place.

The DJ plays energetic EDM tunes, so feel free to dance with your company. But if you want to save a bit more, you can score some drinks at $40 to $50 during their happy hour before 7:30 PM.

Like most bars, it tends to get busy later in the evening. If you visit on the weekends, get ready for the tables to be moved to the side and for the dance floor to fill – everyone is welcome to join for a good time!

Hong Kong just knows how to party, and when it comes to our queer scene, we can be a bit crazier. Thankfully, they’ve rose back from the ashes under a new name, Lessy, still in the same location.

Queer-friendly spaces may not be the norm in Hong Kong but increasingly there are a number of places that offer a safe space, a chance to meet other members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and of course, a great time!

Boo Bar — Jordan

Boo Bar is known for its bears and its karaoke.

The crowd is also a nice mix of young and old, so I’m sure you’ll find a few buddies to join you as you play!
