PFLAG Dayton

The local chapter of PFLAG, this group provides support for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, and allies.

Many of the houses are a part of the Historic Registry, and even if you don’t live in one of these houses, you’ll be in awe of how amazing they look. The City of Dayton consistently receives perfect scores on the Municipal Equality Index. The Center is an association run entirely by volunteers and receives support from individual donors, area business, other non-profit organizations and from annual memberships.The Dayton LGBT Film Festival has been bringing the best and newest of LGBT cinema to the Miami Valley for well over a decade.

If you’re looking for a historic home, this is the place. The city has anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ individuals in housing, employment, and public accommodations, thanks to municipal laws that go beyond state-level protections.

DGMC offers a broad repertoire in a variety of visible and accessible venues, forges community partnerships, and educates the community at large about the value of diversity. Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County has launched a new program called LGBTQ Health Initiatives to inform, educate and empower people to understand the impact of health disparities in the LGBTQ community. The City of Dayton received a 100/100 score on the 2022 Municipal Equality Index.

Dayton Metro Library

With inclusive programming and a curated collection of LGBTQ+ books and films, the Dayton Metro Library promotes visibility and education.

This annual index is compiled by the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBTQ advocacy organization. The organization has brought close to 200 feature length and short films to Dayton since its inception, and hosted over 20 guest artists.Dayton, Ohio is home to The Rubi Girls, a dynamic, close-knit troupe of professionals who have been performing since the late 1980’s.
