Whatever the circumstances, losing your virginity is a universal rite of passage that you only get to do once.
But how do you know if you’ve lost your virginity?
What counts as the official popping of the cherry?
Is orgasm a prerequisite?
Do toys counts?
What about lesbian sex?
Is it defined as your first significant sexual experience, or is it all about what bits went where?
We’ve pondered the virginity conundrum from various perspectives, persuasions and positions and, though highly subjective, there are some fundamentals to losing your V card.
How does a straight man lose his virginity?
By putting their erect penis into a woman’s vagina.
Of all possible scenarios, the straight man’s first time seems the least ambiguous, not to mention the least debated.
As in all cases, no orgasm is necessary, duration of the in-and-out isn’t a factor and it doesn’t matter if you’re in a bed or up a tree.
Though we’d advise against the latter; a splinter’s bad enough when lodged in a finger.
Interestingly, this sex-debut remains undisputedly biological; P goes in V and boom.

When we asked our straight-male test group how they viewed acts such as oral sex and mutual masturbation, they unanimously termed these ‘foreplay.’
